Length(PIvot Hole -> Mounting Point): 315mm

Look for a mounting position for the stay that will allow the boot to fully open and close. Also allow for the extra amount you need to lift the boot lid to lock and unlock boot stay. Remember to allow for the ends of the stay to pivot on the mounting brackets.

1. Angle bracket on boot lid. You can either glass, bolt through or screw this bracket to the boot lid. If you are just screwing this bracket to the boot lid you can use some Sikaflex silicone between bracket & boot lid to add extra strength. See Photo.

2. Bracket to boot wall or floor. You can mount the bracket onto the boot edge(body), boot wall/upper chassis, boot hinge mount or boot floor/lower chassis. Either angle bracket(as per boot lid) or something like round aluminium solid tube, that is drilled and tapped with thread at either end.
